Not preparing for something that is sure to pass is dumb. Recently an acquittance passed away. He had no insurance, no cemetery plot, and no money. It took his family a month to bury him. He did not plan to die. Who does? The problem was he had no plans for when it would happen.
Income taxes MUST be filed every year. I am amazed at how many people are not ready for this annual event. I am not the most organized person. But I accumulate my tax records and keep them in a save place. Take the time to get your documents in order. Call your tax professional with questions. You should speak to them at least once a year. Not just during tax season. If you don't have a tax professional, give us a call.
A little planning goes a long ways.
